Taranis.

Ive downgraded firmware so I can select source as A2, range set to 3.2V, offset
to -1.58 so channel reads 0V at rest.

lifting by hand goes between 0.21 and -0,2. limits set to-10 -2 0.1 3, custom
switch set to vario.

No vario.

I can see the display change, can only get a sound if I set limits to 0, help.

This is not a companion9x issue but a opentx one:
anyway accordingly to thermal scout doc (http://wingedshadow.com/TSoutmode.pdf)
You need to set A2 range to 10.2 (5.08 - (-5.08) (offset in a way to zero the
value at rest, units to m/s,
At least this will display a correct value for vertical speed.

I mark this issue as invalid as pertinent to opentx
