C9X v1.48 crashes in Windows

What steps will reproduce the problem?

v1.48 is hanging in at least two scenarios

First scenario - simulator mode
1. Start C9X
2. File->New
3. Create new model memory by double-clicking on Model01 line
4. From the Editing Model dialog, click 'Simulate' (see screen capture 3)
5. C9X hangs (see screen capture 4)

Second scenario - downloading firmware
1. Start C9X
2. C9X prompts to download firmware (see screen capture 1)
3. Confirm download
4. Download completes (100%), but...
5. C9X immediately hangs (see screen capture 2)

What version of the product are you using? 1.48
On what operating system? Win 7
Which firmware have you selected ? FrSky Taranis

Please provide any additional information below.
The previous version of C9X works fine (v1.47)

Redownload and reinstall C9X 1.48, there was a fault with the initially 
uploaded version, was fixed after a say or so.
