May you try from a terminal to issue the following command:
/opt/local/bin/dfu-util -a 0 --dfuse-address 0x08000000 -d 0483:df11
-D/tmp/opentx.bin

where /tmp/opentx.bin is the actual path of the firmware you have downloaded

Thanks

Romolo,

Thanks for your suggestion. I was able to resolve the issue last night by
downloading and re installing the DFU-Util file which I think may have been
corrupted.

That would mean you pressed the wrong button in C9X, and attempted to read
eeprom, not firmware.

Klamath1, you are correct. I realized that I was clicking the wrong button to
read the firmware.

As posted Nov 1, the issues was resolved by reinstalling the DFU-util.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Dale
in the next build of C9X for MAC, dfu-util will no longer be incorporated into
the setup, but it will have to be installed separately.

Thanks for your report
