compiler errors #85

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. just change any environment command like: \begin{document} -->
\begin{dOcument}
2. I have also tried \begin{align} --> \begin{ali2222gn}
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to see the compiler errors! the document compiles normally but it
shouldn't

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I think the last one! I am on a linux (UBUUNTU 9.04) machine with firefox
3.5.9

Please provide any additional information below.

Agreed, the LaTeX compiler is invoked in such a way as to attempt to continue
despite
syntax errors. So it will be able to get past same invalid LaTeX commands. This
should be configurable so that users can specify what behavior they want the
compiler
to follow.
