While templating on the equation is cumbersome for some things, it really would make adding new discretizations much simpler. I don't have much interest in higher order SN schemes (as DD or SC solve the problems I need), but I do have an interest in higher order schemes for MOC, and eventually, I want to implement rudimentary MOC support (via OpenMOC, etc.)
