[BUG] e-Golf climatisation and charging controls are not working #596

Hello, I have an E-Golf MY 2020 100 KW. Since the change and combination of the ID vehicles with the older vehicles such as Plug in and E-Golf, the following functions no longer work for me: (switches):

golf climate control switch switch electric climate control Switch charging on/off switch Reduced charging current

there is no entity for it in the application

Everything works on the VW app.

Does anyone have an idea?

Only this 2 switches in the list of Entitaets-ID

there are no Control Switch for charging and Electric climatisation

Es gibt nur 2 Schalter

Der Schalter zum Einschalten des Ladevorganges und zur Reduzierung der Ladeleistung ist nicht vorhanden Es gibt keine Entität dafür

I understand what you are saying. But I cannot help you based on the "It's not working" statement. Please enable the debug logging and share the log.

Till then I see no reason to keep this issue open.

According to the log, you should have everything available. Please share the screenshots with all the sensors and controls that you see for your vehicle in Home Assistant.

I see that the switches are not getting registered for whatever reason.

Something funny with your local setup, try to follow those steps and see if it solves the problem:

  1. Remove your vehicle from the integration.
  2. Uninstall homeassistant-volkswagencarnet completely.
  3. Restart Home Assistant.
  4. Install homeassistant-volkswagencarnet after restarting.
  5. Restart Home Assistant once again.
  6. Try to add your vehicle, and check if the issue is resolved.

Another thing I noticed is that I can't change the display of the hidden entities

The 3 other settings in the 4-fold selection menu cannot be changed either

by the way... if you have disabled entities in the Home Assistant that might explain why you don't see controls and switches. Try to enable them.

now I have 58 entities and the missing switches are present.

The vehicle is currently on the road, as soon as it arrives I will test it.

Thank you for your support, I wouldn't have found this on my own. EXCELLENT

With the old app I was able to set various charging levels (via a script). This also works with the new app? There is only one switch for reduced or maximum AC?

Happy to hear that. :) Unfortunately, VW is not exposing the option to set the charging level, only Reduced charging.
