I run this command evm install 1.7.3 and it returns

1.7.3 - This version is not available at http://www.erlang.org/download.html. Any helps?

You probably want the version 17.3.

1.7.3 is not a valid OTP version.

You can check the available versions here http://www.erlang.org/download.html
