NECTouch 1.1 doesn't work on full surface #5

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start NECTouch
2. Calibrate
3. Try touch-feedback

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally it would respond to movements in the whole area(as shown in the
Youtube video), but somehow it either doesn't respond, or only on a small part.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1
Windows 7 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried recalibrating, going from a flat to a curved/vertical surface, but
with no improvements.

I'm not sure i fully understand your problem, but it seems that it's a
calibration problem.
Maybe it's a min/max distance setting problem, or a min/max blob problem.
 - are you on MacOS, linux or Win ?
 - did you try changing min / max diff, or min / max blob size ?

I fixed it, the problem was not in the settings. The problem was that I had to
table too close to the Kinect(so not in view). Switching to Depth-view showed
this clearly and moving the Kinect back solved it.

Thanks for the help. :-)
