Initial position in VR #7

First of all, thanks so much for this mod for the Bonanza! I absolutely love how this aircraft "feels" when you fly it!!

I do have one issue/question though. I do all my flying in VR and whenever I start a new flight in this aircraft/mod, the initial seating position is way too far back and also a bit too low.

I've tried to figure out where I can adjust the initial seating position in VR in this aircraft to adjust this but so far I haven't managed to.

Many thanks in advance for some guidance how to change this default VR view.

Hi There,

Best thing is to delete the camera file in my mod as that will put you back in the default position. From there you can still tweak whatever position you require by adjusting the default seating positions.

Hello and thanks for coming back to me on this.

I tried what you suggested removing the camera file that comes with your mod. However, this way I ended up totally wrong. Just behind the front wheel and below the cockpit. Would have been an interesting position to fly from though 😂

I'm sure it's due to my lacking knowledge about how to configure the different camera views in MSFS but how exactly would I manually change the default VR view - the view I end up in after starting a new flight?

There are many tutorials on setting the view, on youtube and elsewhere.

I actually found what was the real problem, the VR view was missing in your cameras.cfg file. I simply copied that view from the original cameras.cfg into your cameras.cfg and all good after that.
