peppy doesn't seem to detect default language #870

[reported by http://sc3d.myopenid.com/] [Trac time 20110108 194201Z] I am running in locale "en_GB.UTF-8", but peppy defaults to "English (U.S.)", not "English (U.K.)".

[Trac time 20110111 225532Z] Just to verify: "echo $LOCALE" reports "en_GB.UTF-8", or is it some other env variable on your machine?
