https://remark42.com/ has docker images already built! good set of social logins, no federated options though :/ , I like the user IDs and admin control, has google and github... not much else
https://posativ.org/isso/ seems to be the most well known around here, though I'd have to package the container myself it looks like, wait... how do I require authentication? I don't want anon spam
https://commento.io/ seems to have taken a SaaS stance... ah, they're on gitlab and also have a docker image! has gitlab and twitter auth on top of github and google
https://schnack.cool/ never heard of this in my life, but look it has Mastodon auth! auth scopes seem to be all out of wack though (doesn't need twitter followers, so why?), demo kinda looks like garbage but I can write css ez

feedback from friends has unilaterally agreed that remark42 is the best option here, implementation in progress...
