Player stats are not updated automatically #21

There is no autorefresh in the script...
Because there is no auto reshresh, the updated stats do not appear in the
window. Manual freshing will get however the updated stats. Also after you
open the stats window and new games start, the players started playing in
those games do not appear in the stats window. You have to close the stat
window, refresh the Yahoo page and start the stats window again.

Both of these will make the script a lot more useful. I was told an
auto-refresh will solve both of these problems.

hey

you're right, there is no auto-refresh. actually we can't do an auto refresh
because
yahoo will start blocking your IP and you'll have to wait several minutes-hours
before you'll be able to access the box scores.

you can use the refresh button to update your stats, but don't do it too often
for
the same reason above.

you're right about the other issue. you'll notice that the game status also
remains
"out of date".

i'm not sure if there's an easy fix short of auto-refreshing the page when the
[Refresh] button is clicked.

I've noticed that when stats are refreshed, they'll all update, but the inning
for
the game will stay the same as is reported on the page. Refreshing the page and
then
showing the (refreshed) script will show the proper information.
