Master branch should work on latest Ros2 LTS version (Foxy) #17

The master branch should work on the latest LTS distribution of Ros2 (Foxy). Foxy is pretty stable now and has come a long way since the first couple Ros2 releases. In my veranda fork I have a branch that works for foxy. If interested I could make it ready for a PR?
