Thanks for this suggestion, @tcassar . I wish we had GAs set up so we could see the tests running after this change but I haven't had time to set it up yet.
I need to check with our user projects that they are okay with updating to 3.9. I think we only have one active project that isn't mine at the moment, so should be okay. Give me a few days to check.
On second thoughts, this will be fine.
Python at version 3.8 causes test failures in pytest. Here, the spec has been bumped to 3.9 in the
pyproject.toml
file. However, this still causes test skips (which could be fixed by #6)
