After a hiatus from following the smartnet-player/trunk recorder projects I have seen that these tools are becoming pretty darn powerful!
One concern in some of the scanner groups is that ease of access by "bad guys" to tactical comms of PD or Fire may cause more and more departments to go to encryption. I wonder if it might be possible to add a feature that allows certain TGs to have a time delay applied before those comms become available on the site for listeners. Even 2-5 minutes would make the info less valuable to "bad guys" but still quite useful to media and the interested public.
I've been toying with some implementations with mixed success, but I'm sure my code would be a mess compared to some of the clean code you guys can gin up.
