Has to do the following:

ask for name and email for git
ask for username for internal repository checkout
~~clone all repositories~~ the VM is delivered with the software, but needs to be pulled

This script asks for the name, email and pseudonym (for xpcc). But I'm not sure how to invoke this the first time and my experience from our previous VM was that users were generally confused as to why they need to provide their personal data, especially when they were unfamiliar with VCS.

Any ideas?
