For the TUG experiment, and in general for a clinical test involving walking, an interesting feature to add would be to analyze walking patterns and of the patients and detect gait changes leading to falls. This knowledge would be useful to predict a potential fall of the patient and alert the therapist ahead of time.
It could be an interesting project for a thesis and could be completed by developing a GUI (https://github.com/robotology/assistive-rehab/issues/23) to have a nice visualization of the live data we produce (gait parameters and walking patterns)
