ergoCub 1.1 S/N:001 – Strange noise from left ankle pitch while moving #1753

Request/Failure description

We unpacked the robot from the last demo and we tried to switch it on. The first time the left ankle pitch did not calibrate. We restarted the yarprobotinterface and the joint calibrated correctly but it started making noise when moved.

Detailed context

The following video shows the joint moving please switch the volume on to hear the noise.

Additional context

I think that @isorrentino, @CarlottaSartore @S-Dafarra noticed something during the demo, they may complement the issue

Hi @GiulioRomualdi, me and @fbiggi cleaned the joint, now there are no more strange noises coming from the joint.

I have also tested it and it works properly. Closing!
