ergoCub 1.1 S/N:001 – Right shoulder optical encoder cables are loose #1766

Closed evelyd closed 6 months ago

Robot Name 🤖

ergoCub 1.1 S/N:001

Request/Failure description

The optical encoder connector on the right arm sometimes disconnects during tests.

Detailed context

The connector is loose, a small movement can cause it to disconnect, which in turn creates strange arm movements. Usually it only disconnects for a moment, and it doesn't seem to send the motor into fault. Most likely related to the fix competed yesterday, see #1765.

Hi @evelyd, the loose cable was the RA_E1 that connect LCORE5 of the right roll to the 2FOC 1B0. I fixed the cable crimping again all wires. The robot has been tested and it works properly now!
