Version 0.2.0.201307191000 on Eclipse EE with problems #182

Hi, I updated to your recent version and run into blocking problems on two different machines:

Nr1 Win7-64bit/Eclipse Juno R2: I can't open any *'mech files anymore, generation of files also not working

Failed to create injector for com.robotoworks.mechanoid.sharedprefs.SharedPreferencesModel ExtensionFactory: com.robotoworks.mechanoid.sharedprefs.ui.SharedPreferencesModelExecutableExtensionFactory

Nr2 Mac 10.8.4/Eclipse Kepler: no files are generated and your note on "get started" doesn't work. Reinstalling solved nothing

If you have not added the library, Eclipse will show an error and provide a quickfix to add it, this provides the best compatibility because the library is bundled with the plugin

do you have any advice for me ? Thank you

Not sure what this is, I am looking into it now on a windows machine.

Have you tried to create a new workspace? There have been many breaking changes and an upgrade to xtext 2.4.2 so its possible your workspace may not work anymore.

Also, on the windows machine please use Kepler

It works on windows using Kepler, do you have an example project that is not working?

I downloaded JEE version tar xvfz eclipse-jee-kepler-R-macosx-cocoa-x86_64.tar I installed mechanoid and ADT (reboot) I make a new android project new folder 'model' and a new abc.mechdb file with new->mechanoid->mech DB file open abc.mechdb dialog appears: mechanoid.jar missing. @hannesa2 thanks I tried this and your right, it does not work with the EE version of Kepler, but it should work with the classic version.

For some reason the EE version does not add the xtext builder when adding *.mechXXX files :(

Looking into it now

@hannesa2 apologies for the delay could you please try the new version? I found a couple of issues why EE was not correctly adding the mechanoid libraries

on Juno EE, the upgrade of mechanoid doesn't work. XText 2.4.2 is missing, after update it http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/updates/composite/releases/ all other update sites are lost (save it before !), mechanoid is now updateable but still not working. I give up and use Kepler on Windows too
