Hardware: Smartphone, Nexus 6, Android 6.0.1 BuildMJMBs9X

Browser: Chrome 50.0.2661.89

Steps to reproduce: Always.

  1. Visit https://mbta.fyi in the chrome browser on nexus 6.
  2. On the dropdown, zoom in to Kendall and choose to show just the redline.
  3. Zoom in to Kendall.
  4. Press the power button to put it into sleep mode. Android activity manager puts Chrome into the background.
  5. !! (Wait at least 2 minutes) !!
  6. Wake the smartphone up by pressing power button. The chrome browser window is still up and has focus.
  7. Observe the redline train bubbles drive out into the ocean, and up to 15 miles north, south, east, and west of boston.

Other Notes:

When the problem happens, press the power button to sleep, and wake it back up, the problem fixes itself until you sleep and wake it back up again.

If you are sharp eyed, the redline train does a 50 millisecond flash dance on the edges of the screen, as if trying to figure out where they ought to be. Keen eyed users will see the flashing.

Same exact problem happens on my Droid maxx.

Problem does not occur on my Gentoo desktop on Chrome nor the Chrome on windows browser.

Apart from this bug, this software is ready to me to use, totally awesome. If we can get together maybe I can help you slam out an android version of this in a few days.
