Hide buttons on gnome panels don't match rest of the buttons #101

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The hide buttons on Gnome's panels are light grey, unlike the rest of the
panels, which are dark grey/black. If it is possible to fix this, it would
certainly be an improvement. (See the screenshot, bottom left corner.)

The hide buttons are not shown by default. They can be enabled in each
panel's properties.

I've experienced this issue before, although there doesn't seem to be any known
fix
for it. I've tried various panel matching options as well in the past, but none
seem
to work.

If someone can submit a patch or give me a heads up on how to address this
issue, I'd
be more than glad to take a look at it, but for now I've no idea how to get
around it.

This issue also exists in the Dust theme, which has a similar hybrid design -
and
possibly affects all themes like this.

I am posting this in case this might help fixing this minor problem.

It seems that the "New Wave" theme, which has a similar design to Shiki, does
not
have this problem. Like Shiki, this theme has light buttons otherwise, but the
panel
hiders are dark, just like the panels themselves. I think the theme comes with
Jaunty by default.
