provide more info. Otherwise will be hard to debug. Try to execute this on a node shell: https://github.com/roccomuso/kickthemout/blob/4a1d2e53f5877fac753b1b503a226de931891c65/lib/utility.js#L23-L31

That's how kickthemout checks if you're connected.
