Hide Header hides alerts #22

Minimalist version -0.5.2
Relevant core module -Minimalist for Gmail
Chrome version -15.0.874.120 m
Operating System -Windows 7 Professional, x64
Language -English
Google Apps user? -No

When the "Hide Header" option is toggled on for Minimalist for Gmail, some
status messages are hidden (first attachment). These are the status messages
that indicate when mail is deleted, sent, marked read, etc. When the "Hide
Header" option is disabled, all messages show up (second attachment). Oddly,
when the option is enabled, messages that say "Loading..." still appear.

In Minimalist for Google Reader, these messages seem to appear even if the
"Hide Header" option is enabled (third attachment).

Thanks for your hard work! Your addons make Gmail and Reader much more
streamlined for design-conscious folks.

Cheers,
--Dan

Ah thanks for reminding me. Hiding operates the same way in both modules,
however Gmail's alerts are children of the header and Reader's are not. I'll
see if I can come up with a clever way to get around this.

In 0.5.4, alerts show regardless of whether or not the header is hidden. Please
update and confirm
