header and footer ads are still showing

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Minimalist version   -0.6.7
Relevant core module -gmail
Chrome version       -27.0.1453.93
Operating System     -mac os
Language             -english
Google Apps user?    -yes
Other extensions     -no

it's possible i am not clicking on the right setting, but i thought this should 
get rid of the top and bottom stripe ads, too.  i can't seem to get them to 
leave.  :-)  thank you.
