Highlight unread items not working #47

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Despite the choice of color, it remains in the original gmail format.

Minimalist version   - 2.0.4
Relevant core module - Minimalist for gmail
Chrome version       - 15.0.874.121 m
Operating System     - Windows 7 64x
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     - Adblocker

Seeing the same here. Setting the "unread" color, but it doesn't save. reverts 
to Gmail default on each session.

It's not clear what you mean. Is the custom color not saving in the options 
page? If you refresh or re-open the options page is your custom color still 
there?

When you say it reverts each session does that mean that it changes the color 
until you close the tab? Or does it never have an effect?

color is still in the options page, but it is lost in the gmail UI. Tried 
clearing cookies, etc. Also - if I go to the options and re-save the color 
option (for highlight unread) it will re-set it in the gmail UI and work 
properly. But it's lost in subsequent sessions.
