What is the problem? Describe completely:

Minimalist version   -
Relevant core module -
Chrome version       -
Operating System     -
Language             -
Google Apps user?    -
Other extensions     -

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.

color is still in the options page, but it is lost in the gmail UI. Tried 
clearing cookies, etc.

Also - if I go to the options and re-save the color option (for highlight 
unread) it will re-set it in the gmail UI and work properly. But it's lost in 
subsequent sessions.
