Launching Reader as application shortcut breaks certain features #77

Attached are the options I have selected and what happens with the process. 
Clicking the Hide Header toggle merely hides and shows the Header as it does.

Minimalist version   - 0.5.8
Relevant core module - Minimalist for GMail
Chrome version       - 17.0.942.0
Operating System     - Vista
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     - N/A

Does this issue persist when you open Google Reader in a normal tab?
