I've got a working & tested version for ruby 1.8.7, it would be nice to add it to the main repository, but to a second branch. This version has the spec.name set to 'redsys-rails-1.8.7' to avoid interference, and should never be merged with the main branches.
Once created I can perform a pull request with my code.
As 1.8.7 is long deprecated, in order to keep this repo clean and to avoid any accidental errors merging this retro compatible branch, I've decided to leave it at my fork.
So I'll close this issue.
