This issue will likely be closed when specific issues can be made for each of the features this issue will include for now it serves as essentially an outline and plan for the new year. These will be in bullet form for efficiency separate issues will outline in more depth each piece of content.
**Dungeons Completion priority HIGH
Adding puzzle mechanics to both new and existing dungeons
Adding secrets to dungeons, secret bosses ( to some) secret loot chest perhaps revealed through puzzles etc
-Adding new environments and effects to new and existing dungeons
Creating and finish unfinished dungeons (Iron Maw, Old Underground, CR skrill hive, Wild Caverns (maybe?) Valkara's Lair as well as revamp Kerakura, Grim and Vangar's respected dungeons to create a proper repertoire of end game content while also adding some mid range content.
Adding new mechanics to existing dungeons (specifically bosses)
Adding more books to new and existing dungeons
Likely forgetting something will add more**
New Starting Zones Completion priority MODERATE
Rolling out the Taw starting zones in a demo format to replace existing zones. Regions are nearly done remaining quest need finished and region needs mechanics
**Class System Completion priority MODERATE
All new abilities and existing abilities need appropriate tweaks to fit the new system
New UI needs to be designed ( or revamp exiting one) to properly fit the new classes as technically there will be 12 combined
Combat testing for all new classes in different scenarios to test balance
Adjust AI for enemies to fit the new class system
Potentially the introduction of Class trainers (depending on how the system starts to unfold)
Again likely lots more then im forgetting will have to reference Dissys Alpha plan and any work I've made.**
**Mail System Completion priority MODERATE
Expand on delivery boxes perhaps or invent an entirely new system to send messages to offline players and or items/ coin Wecould even use mail system as our form of advertising content to players and rewarding them for coming to events. Have them get a package with their goodies in it. Or have a letter from the dev team outlining upcoming maintenance and or patch notes ( short formed) You can also add more life to the world using mail systems by having NPCs send player letters. Ive seen that before in games where say a player just helped an NPC with a rather long chain 3+ quests in a day or so they receive a letter from the NPC thanking them for all their help and sorta give a update on how they are example " I just wanted to thank you again for all your help ! Since you found my missing child things have been GREAT! We're even taking a trip to visit Camelot were so excited! This is all thanks to you! Regards NPC**
**Auction House Completion priority MODERATE
This is something I already discussed about attempting to make available on VAL since we'll be running it as our live server for some time yet. Auction Houses are a great way to spark in game economy. Trade chat is good but is often spammed when actually used The Auction house in use would mitigate the trade chat making it a little bit more usable in the process too! The other great thing about both these features is they are linked as well as the mail system would be how you received your recently purchased item. It also adds another gold sink which is nice.**
**Groves Completion priority MODERATE
Making groves no longer purchased in credit shop, but at vendors in major cities
Redesigning the user interface to be more player friendly
Adding prop vendors and Prop drops to be added to dungeon and or quest rewards
Adding expansions to Groves ( larger property I.E more build space) Link similar dynamic to Guild Groves for future content.
Add prop packs for Events and credit shop ( packs give players several props out of a themed group of props related to the packs name) example: "Camelot Nobles pack" player receives 5 random props out of the group we assembled 3 uncommon 1 rare and chance at an epic. Prop Example. Uncommon "Church_rug" "Chairs" Rare example "Throne" "Statues" Epic "Smallkeep" "medium_castle" etc
add craftable props
Jobs Completion priority LOW
adding jobs that are linked to crafting
adding farming, logging, fishing ( if possible) mining etc
add crafting plans linked to jobs ( Crafting plan: Basic Weapon Mold. Mats 10 raw iron)
Create UI for crafting ( perhaps similar to the book system where players can store books so that plans are not one time use and once found can be "remembered"
Modify Disassemble feature from advance crafting as a way to learn a new plan. Once an item is disassembled you receive a small amount of mats from it guaranteed however you also have a 20% chance ( percent to be determined) of learning how to make the item. This would allow us to make plans for all weapons and armor in the game even SPM ones. Would require a lot of work i imagine but would help expand crafting.
Titles Completion priority LOW
Titles are very similar to achievements and would likely be linked in many ways one way would be for example a travel achievement might require you to travel to every major region has Em showed in her example. Achieving that might reward players with a title they could display for example Heathendel
Adjust UI to allow players to toggle their Titles, Perhaps through character sheet have a drop box option under their name where they can select from their unlocked titles.**
