Screen Saver only on 2 of 3 monitors and doesn't trigger login screen #1830

Open CompuGenius-Programs opened 1 year ago

CompuGenius-Programs commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug Although the wallpaper works on all 3 of my monitors, the screen saver only plays on 2 monitors, leaving the third to display what it would be if the screen saver were not running (open program or previous desktop IMAGE- not the live wallpaper). Also, the computer resumes without showing the login screen after moving my mouse.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable screen saver
  2. Wait for screen saver to turn on
  3. See first issue 4, Move mouse
  4. See second issue

Expected behavior I expect the screen saver to be playing on all 3 monitors and for the computer to lock after usage.

@rocksdanister has there been any notice of this?

I don't have three screens to test this at the moment.

For lock as a workaround you can tell Lively to lock system instead by changing ScreensaverLockOnResume to true in Settings.json found in appdata location: https://github.com/rocksdanister/lively/wiki/Getting-Started#storage

This does not seem to work.

I don't mind sharing my screen or anything to help test, if you'd like.
