Can't Edit Scheduled Tasks

I created a scheduled scrub and wanted to change the start date and time, but after clicking the edit button I get an error saying: "Unknown internal error doing a GET to /api/sm/tasks/1"

@modelrockettier Thanks for the report, I believe @schakrava is looking into this as we recently had a big UI framework update and I suspect this slipped through. It was noted in #716 but only as a side line. You may for the time being have to delete and re-create the Task.

i made a new try on rockstor i made an update tot he last version

several things are now working fine but still i cannot see the page for task scheduling

it make an infinite loading and never shows anything

@xavierle Thanks, that's a nice find. I have just reproduced this myself in 3.8-6 by creating a new task and upon Submit button I got as you say eternal spinner; but this was only in Firefox, Chrome was OK. However upon hitting the refresh button in Firefox I was presented with the task list with the dubiously submitted task in evidence. Note that from then on my experience was changed and submit button worked just fine in Firefox and continued to work just fine in Chrome. How does your experience tally with this. Thanks again for helping out.

@xavierle Thats a shame. I really don't know what this could. When in chrome - menu - more tools - Developer tools (or just Ctrl+Shift+i) what does it say in the lower dev part when you try to go to this page. What I suspect is that you have some kind of plugin active that is stopping / blocking something that page needs. Sorry but can't think of anything else right now and I would of expected you to have had more problems on other pages as well. Let me know how you get on. By the way when I do the above I get nothing of note in the bottom screen bar a warning about favicon over http.

i do not use chromium normallu but firefox. i specially installed a brand new chromius to test rockstor. I have one warning about a favicon over http and i have one error.

@xavierle Thank for that. Is it Chromium or Chrome that you are using. What I have here is Chrome and it would be good to know if the issue is related to the Chrome - Chromium difference. Sorry but it might help narrow things down as we are not (at least yet) seeing this anywhere else. Let me know if you are not prepared to install Chrome for what ever reason. The version of Firefox that works for me here is the default on Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 ie version 40.0 canonical - 1.0

@xavierle That's very accommodating of you, sorry to put you through all this but I'm a little perplexed. All I can think is that your copy of that js file is corrupt some how. We may have to wait until someone cleverer than me can chip in. If this system is not precious it may just be worth attempting a re-install as my next best guess is a corrupt js file.

@xavierle That's great and quite a relieve. I feel bad for putting you through all that but was just a little lost on what could be causing it. Thanks for reporting in. It might be an idea with odd things like this to put them on the forum first as then you will have a greater resource available to get the issue clarified / pinned down prior to it arriving on the github issues as a verified problem. But in this case it did seem like a related issue. Plus there are more appropriate facilities and nice editing / quoting abilities etc. Oh and a growing bunch of clever people. Linking for context for others as I believe you have already used the forum http://forum.rockstor.com/ ,but if I have guessed your username right it's changed a lot since you last posted.

@xavierle I think I have just reproduced your recent error, see #833 if you are interested. It happened on an upgrade from 3.8-5-3.8-6 but not on other upgrades I have already done.
