I have noticed that you have plan to support Postgres-XC. StormDB was one of the major contributors to the Postgres-XC project and they are now part of http://www.translattice.com/
It looks like they have now developing a new database postgres-xl and you can read more about it at the URL http://www.postgres-xl.org/.
