Speed comparison? #2

I didn't have a problem, but:

What is the speed compared to SuperDump? Does it depend on the filesystem
being ripped to? What is the difference in speed between USB1.0 and USB2.0?

USB2 should get you the maximum speed that the disc can be read at (about
6-7MB/s) where as USB1 would get you about 1mb/s maximum.

I rip GC Games in 9 minutes to my sluggish USB FAT32 device and they are 1.35GB
in size, so you can work it out from there how long a 4.37GB game would take.
NTFS vs FAT32 does not have any performance difference from what I was able to
see.

WOW. SuperDump took 30 mins to rip GC, although same for Wii SL.

GC discs read at 3x, whilst Wii discs rip at 6x, so that makes sense.

Actually, it doesn't. Are you saying that Superdump reads at 3x and CleanRip
reads at 9x for GC discs? Or SUperdump reads at 1x and CleanRip at 3x?

And: 1.35 x 2 = 2.70, not 4.35.
