Seg Fault before loading game

Looks like a driver problem. Can you please upgrade you system to a still 
supported version (i think 12.04 is the one with long term support) and test 
again? You could also try another video plugin like arachnoid or glide64 (see 
http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins )

Also a backtrace could be helpful

Unfortunately, the user did not reply with the necessary information and it was 
not possible to reproduce the problem
