This paper on the limb-darkening behavior of Solar lines looks interesting - it may have implications for transit-transmission spectroscopy if the features being searched for are also present in the stellar spectrum:

Nice find! This is likely also important for Doppler imaging, in which people typically assume limb darkening is just a downweighting of the flux at all wavelengths. I'll likely take a stab at parameterizing this with starry at some point...
