The first line of our policies page currently says

Content added to this site must be related to academic research.

Should we make it say

Content added to this site must be related to academic research. Academic learning seminars that go beyond the classroom curriculum are permitted.

? (The word "seminars" may be read either way - no need to disambiguate.)

Dear @roed314, I work junior researcher and tutor at Ural Federal University, Ekaterinburg, Russia. We have traditional local seminars for students, where students and senior researchers analyze articles and discuss them in the national language. Technically, this is not a discussion of our own academic research, but this is an analysis of publications.

We cannot start an offline seminar in this year, because of coronavirus epidemy in our region. Could we use your service for organization of our local activity? In case of improper usage, could you recommend other services or a mirror of researchseminars.org for educational activity?

@KonstantinUshenin, that use is totally fine. That would seem to fit the "learners" audience option.

The options below are roughly ordered from most specialized to broadest. Select the broadest option that matches the intended audience of the series or talk:

researchers in the topic: researchers in a particular topic within the discipline.
researchers in the discipline: researchers in the broader discipline (e.g., all professors in a university department).
advanced learners: researchers interested in learning details of a subtopic that requires substantial background in the topic.
learners: researchers and students interested in learning a subtopic.
    undergraduates: undergraduate students.
general audience: general academic audience and members of the public with an academic interest.

This designation is intended not to exclude participants, but to suggest what background may be necessary for a participant to be able to benefit from attending.

Nonetheless, given that you felt that you had to ask us, I think we should clarify the policy page, which is what we wondering before in this issue.
