First: thank you for making the inkling working on linux. I did some changes so it works with Inkscape 1.2.

Hi @divosolutions . Thank you very much for updating the Inkscape extension! I thought that by now InklingReader wasn't used by anyone, so I'm very happy to see you took the time and effort to create this pull request.

The PR looks perfect to me. I have a bit of trouble getting it to work though. So, please allow me another day or two to fiddle with my Inkscape setup to see if I can use the extension before I merge the pull request. Is that OK for you?
