Click Extension Icon and noting pops up #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Simply click the extension icon.
2. Nothing happens. 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
My task list should appear.  Instead nothing happens. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Tasks (by Google) 1.1. Browser is Chrome. OSX Yosemite

Please provide any additional information below.
This started the same day on my work computer and home computer.

I have the same problem on a Windows 7 pc, and on a Windows 8 laptop.
