[CHANGE] browser/computer speed #143

What would you like to change

computer/browser/internet speed slows riiight down when i have a lot of tabs snoozzed. I'd have thought snoozzing them would free up space/memory but suddenly if i pause or play a video it takes up to 10 seconds to actually stop or start. Everything is super laggy.

What would you like to see instead

much smaller drain on memory and speed

What is your specific use case (if applicable)

Which browser / OS do you use

windows 11 home 23H2 64-bit OS

2nd that! (I even have a Mozilla case opened regarding that, as this extension seems to be abandoned)

For a (ugly hack) workaround, try disabling disk cache (keep in-memory cache only), about:config, set browser.cache.disk.enabled to false, this should mitigate things a bit. Plus, restart your Firefox every two weeks or so - that seems to work.
