When looking for a python3 compatible pysaml2 version, I've stumbled upon this branch and the following ticket in rohe/pysaml2: https://github.com/rohe/pysaml2/issues/214

It seems like this repo should be deleted and python 3 compatibility is being implemented in the original pysaml2 repo?
