filter function does not work #17

'monthly sa321/3232' is what I am trying to filter for, and it exists as you can see in viewIncomes, but does not show in the filter command,

Team's Response

It was mentioned in the UG that for the description input in the filter function, all special characters and punctuations in input will be removed. Thus, this issue has already been addressed in UG.

However, I do acknowledge that this feature is not replicated when adding an income/expense, and thus the description may still contain special characters/ punctuations. As such, this is a valid issue that could be worked on in future iterations of the project.

The team acknowledges the error. The filter feature does not function properly in the case when the description has special characters.
