Roo 1.1.2 integration #3

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. update to roo 1.1.2 release a few days ago
2. run osgi osgi start --url http://spring-ro...
3. osgi ps does list "spring-roo-addon-typical-security (0.1.4.BUILD-SNAPSHOT)
3. typicalsecurtiy is not recognised by roo and does not work:
"Command 'typicalsecurity setup' not found (for assistance press TAB or type
"hint" then hit ENTER)
addon search --requiresCommand "typicalsecurity setup" found no matches

"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Roo 1.1.2 on Windows7 and typical-security 0.1.4.

I also tested typical-security 0.1.4 on Roo 1.1.1 and it worked fine.

I'm getting similar behavior with 0.1.4 and 0.1.5 on both roo 1.1.1 and 1.1.3.
Windows 7 64bit (should this make a difference?). I'm in Spring Tools Suite
(which uses ctrl+space instead of tab for the command line) and typicalsecurity
doesn't even come up as an option. I've tried doing an osgi install also which
failed.

Command 'typicalsecurity setup' was found but is not currently available (type
'help' then ENTER to learn about this command)

Me too, so I take it this project is no longer being actively developed?

The same error with Roo 1.2.0 and STS 2.9.0.M2...
Is this project alive?
Can anybody tell me how to create a correct security database schema?

I used the project early 2011. It worked at the time, and it created the
required tables in the database scheme. The plugin had some issues back then. I
can not remember exactly what the issues where. I waited for an update for a
while and then gave up, assuming that the project is not alive anymore.
Back then(when I investigated ROO) I was not able to find an authoritative
repository of many quality plugins. It seemed that one was on the way, but I
never found it.
