System is rebooting in some time after tracking started #122

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start application
2. Start tracking
3. Track some time - about 10-15 minutes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Application reboots OS

Which Android device are you using?
Samsung Galaxy Spica

What version of Android are you running?
1.5

Please provide any additional information below.
I noticed this issue only in a few minutes of travelling by bus/car, probably 
in a time when satellite connection losts, but not sure.

I'd think that this would be impossible; or if possible an Android or device 
bug. All kinds of design and security blocks apps from having the effect of 
rebooting the phone.

I have Spica myself that used to reboot once in a while. The troubles went away 
after I cleaned the contact points on my SIM cards and ran the Samsung update 
to Android 2.1 (froyo). Could it be that this might also remedy your reboots?
