When I call someone and I have my handsfree earbuds or bluetooth connected, I
usually put my phone into my pocket or I hold it in my hand and keep talking.
But my phone doesn't turn off the screen because its proximity sensor may
notices light and keeps the screen on. I might be talking hours and the screen
could remain on in my pocket, draining battery. So I have to turn off the
screen manually after a successful call, which can be annoying. Something no
less annoying is that the screen of the phone is turned on when a call ends,
and if the phone is in my pocket and the proximity sensor doesn't fire, it may
remain on, have the screen touched/apps launched/commands initiated without my
knowledge.
So here's the feature request:
Implement a Dark Mode, off by default. Under one or several optional
conditions, the screen will be forced off after the call is initiated, and will
not come on when the call ends. The conditions are:
* Wired Headset connected
* Bluetooth connected
* Specific Contact called
