Just found a dirty hack:
Z:\portable64
)cmd
, no need for Admin rights, cd /d
into the subfolder, and md
a sub subfolder, say Z:\portable64\0
cd /d
into the new subfolder and create a bunch of symbolic links pointing to the other subfolders taken from the partition's root (for example mklink /d 16 Z:\portable16
)Cheers
Hello sir, first of all thank you for your work and your great app! I'm testing it with both the .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.0 and the updated version (6.0.16) and it works with both. I would like to point out just one little problem, which I think is related to #3 ... if the path or file contains any space it does not work ... If I create the menu using my entire data partition, I get an error I think due to the "System Volume Information" folder I am also attaching the debug log. DebugLog.txt I'm also a Debian user, so I'm more than used to avoiding spaces in file and folder names as much as avoiding the plague, unfortunately I have to give up on the historical nonsense of Microsoft systems.
Please, any way to fix it?
For now, I use your app taking care to point to a subfolder path with no spaces and of course it works like a charm. In any case, thanks again, my best
