Switching to another tab loses the photo inside of the Awesome Screenshot Minus tab #30

When I capture a page with this extension, I am presented with a new tab that contains the captured photo inside.

If I switch to another tab and come back to the Awesome Screenshot tab, the photo is lost.

Hey:

I can't seem to reproduce your issue - if I take a screenshot of this very page using the "Capture Visible Area" button, switch from the captured photo tab to another tab, and switch back - it's still there. What version of Chrome are you running (check this by going to chrome://version), and what OS are you using?

Opera 38 on Windows 7 64-bit

So, interestingly, I moved the tab to its own / new window by dragging it out of its current window, and the tab functions correctly: the image that was inside of it came back, and doesn't disappear.

If I move the tab back to the original window, it still keeps the screenshot.

I tried to reproduce your issue in Opera, and I still can't seem to do so. Here's my version info:

Version: 38.0.2220.41 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (x86_64; KDE)

We both run different operating systems; could you try installing Opera on a Mac or Linux, and seeing if the issue is there too?

Yeah it happens on my work's Macbook too using Opera.

I think it's an issue with HTML5 canvas while using Opera. It happens outside this extension as well on other sites like https://markets.blockchain.info/ and https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/btcusd and behaves exactly the same way as I described above.

Still a problem after updating:
