export Group Libraries exports ALL files #4

Great extension - just what I need to use Zotero effectively with biblatex!

One problem I've encountered is that if I select "Export files of the following types of collections: every collection named by its name", when it exports any 'Group Library' every file in my Zotero library (not just those in that specific group) are exported. Any way to fix this? Thanks!

So do I understand right that exports also the items which are not assigned to any group? However thanks foryour feedback

That's correct - when it gets to a group library, it exports all the files in my personal library instead of only those in the group library.

Oddly, I tried this a number of times and occasionally it would work correctly, but not always or in a consistent way that I could figure out.

Thanks for your response. I will take a look at / try to reproduce the problem next time.

Is it correct that you are using Zotero Standalone? When trying to reproduce it worked in FF but not in the Standalone. However Zotero has a bit a problem with groups because it is not really the same like the collections. I updated the code and now it works correct in my case. Can you try the beta release 1.1.5 which you can download from the changelog of the addon: http://rokdd.de/b/zotero-autoexport and report me whether it helps or not?

Yes - I am using Zotero Standalone. Your updated code (1.1.5) works perfectly! All items in each selected collection and group library are correctly exported (and no others exported).

Thanks for the fast fix! This really streamlines my use of Zotero --> bibtex --> latex!

A followup issue, as this isn't working for me. How do I get Group libraries exported?

If I select "No export of collections (only the whole library)", it exports fine, though only My Library.

When I select ""Export files of the following types of collections: every collection named by its name" and then Run Zotero AutoExport, it appears nothing happens.

I'd like to be exporting one of my Group Libraries to Bibtex. What am I missing?

The problem above is issued another way.. However can you check whether you get errors in the console? In the support tab at http://rokdd.de/b/zotero-autoexport you can find the steps to get there and you can also use the form http://rokdd.de/b/kontakt/zotero-autoexport to send me the details.

I understand the original issue by John is about another thing, but it was the only place where I saw written down that it was even possible to export group libraries! :-)

I'll start another issue.
