Hello,

How can I add thumbnails (trick play) with component video?

Trickplay thumbnails in SGDEX work exactly the same way as in RSG. Details can be found here: https://developer.roku.com/docs/developer-program/media-playback/trick-mode/trick-mode.md

perfect but works with smooth streaming ?? or any idea?

For SmoothStreaming, you would need to provide BIF files.

A scene-based trick mode is based on the availability of scene information in the form of BIF-files or standard thumbnail files for HLS or DASH
