Sample HLS Trickplay is not working on Roku Ultra #19

Setup is with Stream/RAF Tester Tool

  1. Set https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rokudev/samples/master/media/TrickPlayThumbnailsHLS/master_withthumbs.m3u8 as video URL in Stream Tester Tool.
  2. Video plays but no Trickplay

I also tried the DASH version to make sure my setup was not an issue. This link works with Trickplay: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rokudev/samples/master/media/TrickPlayThumbnailsDASH/master_withthumbs.mpd

Hi @PatRolland,

Thanks for your note. We've updated the ReadMe to clairify that the stream in the sample is designed to be used in the generation of trickplay thumbnails. It does not play with the RAF/Stream test tool. You can use the following stream to test: https://image.roku.com/ZHZscHItc2Ft/roku/trickplay/master.m3u8.
